Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Loom Bunny. These terms govern your access to and use of our homeschool learning material generation platform.
On this page (Jump to section)▼
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, browsing, or using Loom Bunny (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Who May Use the Service
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Parent-Operated Service
Loom Bunny is designed exclusively for parents, legal guardians, and homeschool educators. We do not provide child accounts or child logins. The parent or educator must operate the application directly at all times.
Parents and educators act as the primary instructor. You are responsible for supervising your child's learning experience and selecting appropriate materials.
4. Accounts and Account Security
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.
5. Child Profiles and Parent Responsibility
Parents may configure child profiles within the dashboard to personalize educational materials. We minimize child data collection and request only high-level information such as a first name or nickname, grade level, approximate age band, and learning interests. Parents are solely responsible for the information they provide and for reviewing all generated content before presenting it to a child.
6. User Content and Uploaded Materials
You may upload curriculum excerpts, textbook pages, topic descriptions, notes, and instructions (“User Content”) to generate learning materials. You retain all ownership rights in your User Content.
By uploading User Content, you grant Loom Bunny a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and transmit your User Content solely to the extent necessary to deliver the generation services you request. You represent that you own or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to upload your User Content.
7. AI-Generated Materials
The Service uses artificial intelligence model providers to generate printable worksheets, reading passages, workbooks, unit studies, and teacher answer keys (“Generated Output”).
Because AI systems generate content probabilistically, Generated Output may occasionally contain factual errors, imperfect formatting, or mathematical discrepancies. We incorporate automated quality assurance checks, but parents are responsible for reviewing all Generated Output prior to instructional use.
8. Educational Disclaimer
Loom Bunny provides supplemental educational tools and materials designed to assist homeschool parents. The Service is not an accredited school, certified curriculum provider, or formal educational institution.
Parents remain the primary educators and are solely responsible for ensuring that their homeschooling program satisfies all state, local, or jurisdictional curriculum mandates and legal requirements.
9. Credits
The Service operates on a credit-based system:
- Credits are debited when a creation generation job is successfully initiated.
- Free accounts receive 3 promotional credits upon signup to explore the Service.
- Subscription plans allocate a fixed balance of monthly credits on each recurring billing date.
- Credits hold no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency.
10. Subscriptions
We offer paid monthly subscription memberships (Starter, Family, and Power tiers). By subscribing to a recurring plan:
- You authorize recurring monthly charges to your selected payment method until you cancel.
- Monthly subscription credits are allocated at the beginning of each billing period.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the parent billing portal.
11. Top-Ups
Active users may purchase standalone top-up credit packages (5, 10, or 20 credits). Top-up credits are billed as one-time transactions and remain attached to your account for future creations.
12. Payments and Billing
All payment transactions are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By submitting payment information, you agree to Stripe's applicable terms and services. All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Terms.
13. Cancellation
You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time through the Billing & Credits section in your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active through the end of your current paid billing cycle, and no further recurring charges will be made.
14. Failed Generations & Credit Restoration
If a generation job fails to complete due to a technical server error or unrecoverable quality verification failure, the credits debited for that generation attempt are automatically restored to your credit ledger balance.
Because digital credits and PDF resources are delivered immediately upon generation, monetary subscription and top-up purchases are generally non-refundable once processed, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
15. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or age-inappropriate content.
- Upload content that infringes upon any third party's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract source code from the Service.
- Circumvent credit limits, billing systems, authentication mechanisms, or rate limits.
- Use automated bots or scripts to access or interact with the platform without express written permission.
16. Intellectual Property & License to Generated Output
Loom Bunny, including its design, logos, software, code, templates, and branding, is the property of Loom Bunny and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view, download, print, and reproduce Generated Output created under your account solely for your family's personal, non-commercial homeschooling use.
17. Feedback & Learning Preferences
If you submit feedback ratings, reason selections, or suggestions regarding generated materials, you grant us the right to use this feedback to improve the Service, adjust prompt parameters, and adapt future generation quality without compensation or obligation to you.
18. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers, including cloud database hosting (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), and artificial intelligence model routing (OpenRouter). We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions or changes in third-party API availability.
19. Service Changes & Availability
We continuously improve the Service and reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, resource type, or part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free platform availability.
20. Termination & Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent billing activity, abuse system resources, or attempt to circumvent security controls. You may terminate your account at any time by stopping your use of the Service or permanently deleting your account directly through your Account Settings.
21. Disclaimers & Warranties
Please read this section carefully.
THE SERVICE AND ALL GENERATED MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
22. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LOOM BUNNY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO LOOM BUNNY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
23. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, minimize, and safeguard your personal information and family data.
24. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. When we make updates, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
25. Contact & Legal Inquiries
If you have questions regarding these Terms of Service or billing policies, you may contact us through your authenticated parent dashboard settings or via our official support channels.
